PNPIndex was founded by Tanush Uppalapati with a simple idea: the way fans argue about athlete value looks a lot like the way investors argue about companies. Instead of betting on results, PNPIndex lets fans express those opinions as a portfolio — rewarding people who spot production before the market does.
How prices are calculated
Each league uses its own performance index because the sports measure completely different things. NBA pricing is driven by per-game production (points, rebounds, assists, steals, blocks, efficiency) scored against a player's expected baseline. NFL pricing is position-specific — quarterbacks, running backs, receivers, defenders, kickers, and punters each have their own weighted formula — and uses a two-game minimum hold period to match the weekly rhythm of the sport. A career achievement multiplier then rewards emerging players and tempers established stars, so upside stays available across the board.

PNPIndex is a simulated, skill-based fantasy sports platform. It is not a sportsbook, exchange, broker-dealer, or betting service. PNPIndex does not accept wagers, does not offer odds or point spreads, and does not pay out based on the outcome of any game, contest, or athletic event.
All in-platform balances, share prices, and index positions are virtual and hold no monetary value. Virtual currency cannot be purchased, redeemed, transferred, or exchanged for cash or anything of value. Optional membership purchases unlock platform features and contest eligibility only; they are not stakes, bets, or entries wagered on a game result.
Any prizes are awarded for relative skill-based performance across a full season of portfolio management, consistent with fantasy contest rules, and are not contingent on the outcome of a single game or event. Participation may be restricted where prohibited by law, and participants must meet the applicable minimum age in their jurisdiction.

All league, team, and player names are used for identification and informational purposes only. Statistical data is sourced from publicly available game records.
